Hotel O Pino is in the Town Council of O Pino, province of A Coruña (Galicia). Specifically in a village called A Rúa, which belongs to the parish church of Arca (its core is O Pedrouzo).
After leaving behind the small but symbolic and beautiful Chapel of Santa Irene and San Pedro, the Way takes the pilgrim by trails dressed lush green to both sides and silence as a backdrop. A Rúa is located on kilometre 18 of the Route, parallel to the N-547.
To reach the Hotel you start from the Tourist Office of O Pino, next to a small fountain. You must simply take the turn-off to the right and from there you can see the building in the background.
A Rúa, despite the small number of neighbors it has currently, has already had historical references for several centuries. It was known as Village das duas Casas (of the two Houses), and the oral tradition tells about the existence of a building which worked in a very modest way as a hospital for pilgrims. The legacies of history have left us, moreover, a coat of arms of stone in one of the houses. This is a reference to the presence of nobles in the area, who were hospitable with the pilgrims of Compostela.
